This scaled mixed-media replica is based on the original prop used in the production of Victor Fleming’s 1939 musical epic ‘The Wizard of Oz’, which was presented to the Cowardly Lion by The Wizard as recognition of the courage the old lion had all along.
Measuring 12cm in diameter, this replica alloy medal features a blue enamel ‘Courage’ banner below a perfectly recreated emblem of a knight’s helmet and lion. The medal is attached to a red and white striped fabric medal ribbon, with the back containing a laser engraving of the limited edition number. The medal comes packaged in a beautiful black felt display box, complete with a gold foil stamped The Wizard of Oz logo.
