Fourteen years after the fall of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order depicted in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, as the Empire is securing their grip on the galaxy and hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights, a motley group of rebels unite aboard a freighter starship called the Ghost and conduct covert operations against the Imperial garrison on and around the planet Lothal and other planets that are menaced by the Empire. They call themselves Phoenix Squadron, and they light the spark that births the Rebellion.

 

Thrawn was a male Chiss, known for his brilliant strategic mind and ruthlessness, he was determined to “pull the Rebels apart piece by piece” for the Empire.
