'Married with Children' changed the landscape for sitcoms in the 80s/90s, throwing the idea of a "perfect family" out the window and introducing us to the dysfunctional mayhem of the Bundy family. Viewers were drawn into the trash comedy, which despite the characters many flaws, became a show that was relatable to millions around the world.

 

The show follows the lives of Al Bundy, a once glorious high school football player turned hard-luck women's shoe salesman; his obnoxious wife, Peggy; their attractive, promiscuous, and clueless daughter, Kelly; and their girl-crazy, wisecracking son, Bud.
